An amazing guest service experience in a cozy tropical enclave

As a couple, we chose The Palms based on the American Express Hotel Collection recommendation in Miami Beach. Very upscale resort setting with an interesting old world Spanish villa designed interior. Although the room, food, pool, and spa exceeded expectations, the most striking aspect of this hotel is the caliber of guest service from every member of the staff. Really something from a bygone era when guests were treated like royalty. It was a refreshing change from most hotels and resorts these days. We will definitely return when in the Miami Beach area. Peaceful, relaxing stay at beautiful gem of a resort in Miami Beach

During my 7 night stay in Miami Beach, 4 nights were spent at The Palms Hotel and 3 nights at another 4 star hotel. The Palms has the perfect formula: large pool and beach area + relatively small hotel = uncrowded outdoor spaces. Even on the busiest days we never had to hunt or wait for an open chair. We love the chair covers for the lounge chairs at both the pool and beach, those are fantastic! Staff were attentive, friendly, professional and helpful. The food available at the pool and beach was high quality offering both delicious, healthy salads and bowls, as well as comfort favorites. Compared to same class larger hotel, we received a superior experience at The Palms with less crowds and much fewer rowdy adults and wild young children. At first we thought we would miss having a hot tub, but the pool is heated well enough and at the other resort the hot tub was always filled with young children anyway. We fell in love with the hotel from the very first steps on the property. A fabulous return to the Palms.

This was our second visit to the Palms this year. We discovered this gem to our delight and already feel like it is a home away from home. We love everything about it. Everyone has a smile and good word. The beauty of the grounds and the pool are calming, the beach is fabulous, the food was good and consistent, and the people are the best! The rooms are beautiful, and views of the city and beach are great. Although, if you can, I highly recommend the ocean view! Fantastic private owned hotel - pure class

Stayed for 2 nights in Nov 24, superb hotel, which can be observed as soon as you set foot in the hotel, immaculately clean and piped scent, of calmness. Reception and all staff extremely professional. Rooms are very well appointed with large beds. Pool area is very nice with well kept plants and Palms. Pool bar offers comfortable sunbeds and great food, prices are in keeping with Miami (quite expensive) but in line with all external hotel places. Best spa resort ever

Wow. What an AMAZING trip. From the moment I drove up to the property I felt the ridiculously high level of service. The bell hop team was incredible. I didn’t touch one doorknob or car door handle. The service was exceptional. They were friendly and courteous and it just set the tone for an amazing trip. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We arrived early and she made sure we had access to all of the amenities ahead of time. It was a beautiful and peaceful resort. We had massages that were INCREDIBLE at the spa. The spa staff was so helpful and accommodating. My massage therapist was so respectful, and comforting (javier). He gave a relaxing peaceful and strong massage it was XEN! The beach staff was also amazing. We had a group of 3 and they put three chairs together in seconds!!! They adjusted our umbrella and we’re just so accommodating and concerned for our comfort. It was truly a relaxing and peaceful experience. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Everything about this place was perfection. - Christine K
